Making the best "wurst"...
A small gallery of how we make the finest brats!

Our special blend of seasonings
is mixed with water.

The seasoning mix is now poured into the grinder with the pork.

The grinder mixes the seasoning and pork together until the right consistency is achieved.

The pork and seasoning mix is ground into a bucket for further processing.

The pork and seasoning mix is now put into the "hopper" of the stuffing machine.

Natural hog casings are slid onto the stuffing tube.

A pedal is depressed so that the pork and seasoning mixture is "stuffed" into the casings, forming a bratwurst link.

The machine twists the bratwurst links as they come off the stuffing tube. Occasionally it is necessary to twist a brat by hand. This is done by holding both ends of the brat in your hands and twirling the link just as you would a jump rope.

The brats are then snipped with a pair of scissors in between each link and packaged.

Our family takes great pride in providing high quality products. In keeping with traditional German bratwurst making, we use top grade, fresh ground pork, natural hog casings and fine spices for our brats. Every batch of brats we produce is done with care and pride
